In order to save the planet, we need to prevent major corporations from dominating the production and distribution of commonly used products. Major corporations reward legislators for passing laws that benefit them and make it nearly impossible for other companies to compete with them.
Practically everything made of oil can be made from hemp. In 1937 the cultivation of hemp was made illegal by Congress in order to benefit Mega-Corporations that profit at the expense of the people and the planet.
If our gasoline, steel buildings and bridges were made from hemp we could end our dependence on the predatory corporations that destroying the planet.

An acre of corn produces an average of 150 bushels which sell for approximately $5 per bushel and generates an annual profit of around $800.
The value of the medicine, food, building materials, fabrics, and all of the hemp oil makes hemp the most profitable cash crop.
