Southern Boone County Schools A Little About Me
Just A Bit About Miss Mosley

Educational Background:

I was born and raised in the heart of Mid-Missouri - Holts Summit. I went through the Jefferson City school system as a proud Jaybird and graduated in 1997. That Fall I began as a freshman at Truman State University in Kirksville, MO. I graduated with my Bachelor of Science in English in the summer of 2001. Then in the summer of 2002 I graduated with my Masters in Education, Elementary Emphasis, after an internship with a Nationaly Board Certified teacher in her 3rd grade EMINTS classroom in Kirksville R-III schools. Currently I am working towards my certification in Gifted Education and hope to receive that in the Fall of 2004. Currently I am also serving as Alternate Director for District G of the Gifted Association of Missouri organization.

So What Did You Do All Summer?

Well, when I'm not working at school I like to get out and try all kinds of new things. I hike, bike on trails, spend time at the local coffeeshops and exploring the state. As for hobbies, I do everything from sewing and carpentry to bowling and playing musical instruments. So, this summer I did a great deal of traveling all over Missouri and the Mid-West (Kansas, Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, and Illinois) visiting friends and seeing sights. I also took in a number of musical concerts, another great hobby of mine. I saw the Old 97s, Reel Big Fish, The Aquabats, They Might Be Giants, and soon Weird Al Yankovic.
