L.S.U. Elementary School EDCI 3127 Home Page
Dear Parents,
Hello!  My name is Kayla Loupe and this is my first year as a third grade teacher.  I am very excited to have your child in my classroom as we both embark on a very exciting journey.
First, I would like to tell you a little about myself.  I graduated from Louisiana State University with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education.  I consider myself to be a very diligent, honest, loyal, and hard working person and I am also quite certain that I will do my part in making your child's educational career a success.
To make this possible, I will need you help and full support.  I feel as if my class will be a very enjoyable experience for your child if you, your child, and I work as a team to ensure the highest quality of education for him/her.
Please visit this website often, as I will post class announcements and other important information as the school year progresses.  I am looking forward to a very productive year, as well as an adventurous one.  I can only hope that you and your child are seeking the same and will do whatever possible to make this year a success.
If you ever have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me by either email or by phone.  Welcome to third grade!
With kindest regards, I remain
Sincerely yours,
Kayla M. Loupe

Dear Students,
Hello and welcome to third grade!  I am very excited that you are in my class this year.  We are about to embark on a journey of adventure as we learn about many new and exciting things this year.  I will do everything possible to make this a wonderful learning experience for you.  To do so, I will need your full cooperation, as well as your ideas.
At the end of this webpage, I have asked you to answer a few questions about the class and email your reply to me.  Please take these questions seriously because it is very important that I know what your interests and dislikes are.
I will do my best to incorporate your ideas into the classroom and learning, but please understand that there are some things that I am responsible for teaching you which may not allow enough time for me to teach about everyone's suggestions.  Again, I will make every effort to ensure that this year is full of excitement!
Below you will also find a list of our classroom rules.  Please look over them, for it is very important that we follow these rules to make sure that the year is as much of a success as I know it can be.
If you ever have any questions or concerns, please send me an email with any of those.  Again, I look forward to a very exciting year and only hope that you are too!
