Hi!  And Welcome to Family Nursing!

Let me tell you a little bit about myself.  I received a diploma in nursing from Lutheran Hospital School of Nursing in Milwaukee.  This school/hospital closed and is now a part of Sinai Samaritan.  I completed my BSN at Marquette University and obtained my MSN from the University of Wisconsin--Milwaukee.  My major was Perinatal Nursing.

I have been an RN since 1973 and have worked mostly in Maternity (Postpartum/Normal Newborn Nursery), although I have had experience in NICU and Medical-Surgical Nursing.

I have been teaching nursing since 1976 and have had the opportunity to teach in a variety of types of educational settings--diploma, baccalaureate, LPN progression, external degree and A.D.N.  I began teaching at MATC in 1998.  I also have been involved in teaching review courses for the NCLEX exam.

In my free time I enjoy reading fiction, gardening, and spending time with my family.  I am married and have two middle-school age children.
