CONGRATULATIONS!  Your joining this class has enhanced the possibilities of your progression in the P.N. program. Your COMPLETION of this class with satisfactory progress and attendance will ensure that you will move to the top of the waiting list for the Term that you are seeking to enter.

This web site is designed to assist you in learning your Nursing skills via interactive programs.  You may work at your own pace and time.  You must seek out the Skills Lab Instructor for guidance and directions. Prescriptive assignments will be given to you, so that you will remain
goal directed for your tasks. Idle time in the lab is not
productive, therefore we request that you come when you know that you will be able to focus and attend to your goals.

If, you are currently enrolled as a Sheridan P.N. student, and you have been referred by your teacher, to remediate or improve a skill; Skill Lab hours do not replace Clinical hours.  Clinical hours must be made up by making arrangements with your instructor.  The Board of Nursing
requires that at least 50% of your program hours are clinical.

You are expected to attend regularly, and to be productive
while in the lab.  This is the primary way to either maintain
your current term or to re-enter the program at the term
you left.

You should make a list starting with the deficiencies which
your Instructor identified for you and then add the areas which you are unsure about.  This will guide the Instructor
to assist you in a prescriptive remediation.  Your must look-up all the "TERMS, DRUGS, DISORDERS, etc..." for
the Term that you are working toward.  You must also WRITE down all the information and turn it in to the Instructor.

The games and activities at this site are to assist you to learn in a fun way, they do not replace good study habits.

Any suggestions or improvements to this site may be written  to Ms. Parke at the following address:             csparke35@hotmail.com
