Presbyterian Day School is a quality preschool located in the heart of beautiful down town St. Augustine at Memorial Presbyterian Church.  Presbyterian Day School(PDS) serves children ages two, three, and four. Classes are small, therefore availability is limited.  Currently there is a small waiting list for new students.
 
Presbyterian Day School is owned an operated by Memorial Presbyterian Church, under the direction of a Board of Directors. The Board is comprised of both church members and non-church members, parents of the preschool,a church Session member, the Director of Christian Education, and the PDS Director, Mary Ann Holanchock.

The director oversees the registration and administration of all programs. The teacher of each class holds a degree in Early Childhood and/or Elementary Education.  Each classroom is assisted by a full-time aide.PDS staff currently includes:

     Michelle Rynn-  Substitute Teacher
     Ruth Young- Substitute Teacher

Presbyterian Day School is in operation Monday through Friday from 9:00a.m. until 3:00p.m.  Class schedules are flexible which allow for both part-time and full-time schedules based on availability. Pre-registration for the upcoming school year is always held in mid March.  Class schedules are as follows:



     Monday-Wednesday-Friday
                          9:00a.m.-12:00p.m.
                          9:00a.m.-3:00p.m.

     Tuesday-Thursday
                          9:00a.m.-12:00p.m.
                          9:00a.m.-3:00p.m.

     **Two-Year-Old Classes from 9:00a.m.-12:00p.m. only

PDS follows the Public School Calendar except for specific start and end dates. Classes begin directly after Labor Day and continue until early June.  There is usually a limited summer program from mid July to mid August which only accomodates those children already in attendance.

Presbyterian Day School takes pride in providing a quality preschool program in a Christian setting.  Christian values are an integral part of our curriculum.  In addition to our planned academic program which is based on Weekday Programs For Young Children, PDS offers study in foreign language, sign language, chapel,music and art.
