Mathematician Presentation Project
A. Tentative Due Date: January 22nd
B. Objective: To create and present a poster or timeline of a famous mathematician or physicist from history. (You cannot work with a partner)
Materials: A full size poster board for the Did You Know Poster or a comparable
size poster for a timeline of the mathematician's life and accomplishments
Where to get information: Encyclopedias, Biography books, Internet, etc.

Presentation: Student must give a verbal presentation of their completed project.
It must last at least 3 minutes in duration.
Scoring: Poster or timeline 50 points
Presentation 50 points
Total 100 points
C. Students will be expected to research their mathematician using library and Internet resources. Some resources can be found at:

D.. Students will have some in-class time to research in the library and on the computers, but they will need to do much of the work on their own time,and they can also utilize Benson and Pitt libraries as well!
