PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING BEFORE STARTING ON THE EPPP WEEKEND WORKSHOP ONLINE TESTING PROGRAM!
INTERRUPTED ACCESS: If for any reason your access to this test is interrupted (e.g., loss of internet, incorrectly ending a test rather than saving it to continue later), click the first Useful link below: 'Access Interrupted' to immediately resume your testing.
Access to PSYCHPREP's EPPP Weekend Workshop Online Tests Program requires registration, a Username, and a Password.
If you are participating in the Weekend Workshop live, you should only access these online tests AFTER you have attended the workshop. If you are participating in the Weekend Workshop Homestudy Program, you should initially access these tests while following along with the audio CDs/mp3.
As a Weekend Workshop participant (live or homestudy) you will be able to take the Weekend Workshop questions (about 200 questions) three times online: Workshop Mode, Retake Mode, and Test Mode. You will be able to review your results as often as you like.
WORKSHOP MODE: It is strongly recommended the first time you complete the EPPP Weekend Workshop Online Testing Program, you take the online test questions in Workshop Mode.
In Workshop Mode, the Weekend Workshop is broken into 12 parts:
Test-Taking Strategies [exclude this portion from your total score out of 175]
III. Industrial/Organizational Psychology
VI. Test Construction
VIII. Biological Bases of Behavior
IX. Research Design
XI. Social and Multicultural
The test software will prompt you to complete the entire section, and then review the rationales for each question. If you have the CDs/mp3s, after completing each section, you should be listening to the corresponding audio portion, and thoroughly studying the rationales. If you have attended the workshop live, after completing each section you should be thoroughly studying the rationales.
On average it should take about 1 - 1.5 hours to complete, study, and listen to the CDs/mp3s for each part in Workshop Mode. It is strongly recommended that you spread out taking the workshop questions over at least two days.
To reiterate, to complete and study the Weekend Workshop (in Workshop Mode) you should allow about 16 hours. Students who rush to complete the test are at a tremendous disadvantage in terms of both learning the content and developing test-taking skills.
RETAKE MODE: We recommend you wait to take the Weekend Workshop questions in Retake Mode for about a month (at minimum three weeks) after completing the Weekend workshop in Workshop Mode. In Retake Mode, the test software will prompt you to review the rationale for each question immediately after completing the question. A question missed in Retake Mode represents a personal red flag, a question you may miss on the actual exam unless you take some action! Allow 5 - 6 hours to complete the Weekend Workshop in Retake Mode. It is expected that you will miss fewer than half as many items in Retake Mode as you missed in Workshop Mode.
TEST MODE: You should complete the Weekend Workshop in Test Mode within a month of your EPPP date. In Test Mode, all test items are presented (175). You must complete all items before you will have the opportunity to review the rationales. Allow 3 - 4 hours to complete the items in test mode. In is expected that you should score at least 95% in Test Mode.
ACCESSING TEST RESULTS: All of your test results (test scores as well as test items, answers you selected, correct answers, detailed rationales) are stored and can be reviewed by either entering www.quia.com/web into your Internet browser, or by clicking the Useful link below: 'Review Tests.' Then click 'Student Zone,' enter your Username and Password. All the tests you have taken will be displayed. To review a test click the icon on the far left of the test name (the icon looks a bit like a barcode).
STUDY SCHEDULE/EXPECTED PROGRESS: Guidelines for expected progress can be accessed at the link below: 'Expected Progress.' The recommended study schedule and timing for taking the practice tests can be accessed at the link below: 'Study Schedule.'
We encourage you to e-mail us your results (info@ psychprep.com) after you complete the Weekend Workshop questions. Please tally your total test score out of 175 points (excluding the test-taking strategies questions) and submit that score along with the date you completed the test. We are happy to provide you with feedback and recommendations.
