5-22: We learned the Preterite(past tense) of regular verbs. The material can be found on Pages 304 and P. 329 in the textbook.
5-19: We took the Final Vocabulary Quiz.
5-18: We went over CW 2 and did a board activity on ser and estar.
5-17: We went over the workbook pages and got our final crosswords. CW 1 was done in class and CW 2 is homework
5-16: We finished our lesson on ser and estar. I assigned the following workbook activities for homework: P.101-C and P. 102-E.
5-15: We went over the workbook activities on pages 93, 97, and 98. We also began our study of the verbs ser and estar.
5-12: We did a board activity using forms of saber and conocer. I assigned the following workbook activities for homework due on Monday: P.93-D and F, P.97-A, and P.98-C.
5-11: We went over the homework assignment on P.254-E. We also got and went over the Final vocabulary list. A link to the words is right below.

5-9: We took the Chapter 8 Exam.
5-8: We reviewed for the Chapter 8 Exam.
5-5: In honor of Cinco de Mayo, we watched a cultural video on Mexico.
5-4: We did a board activity which dealt with the present progressive.
5-3: We went over the workbook assignments from pages 79 and 80. I also assigned two of the exercises(E and F) to be tranlsated into English and turned in.
5-2: We did a board activity on the Present Progressive and I assigned the following activities in the workbook for homework: P.79-D, E and P.80-F.
5-1: We went over Exercise P. 219-A and reviewed the Present Progressive.(P.214)
4-28: We took the Chapter 8 Vocabulary Quiz.
4-27: We went over Crossword 8-2 and studied for the vocabulary quiz.
4-26: I gave out the crosswords for Chapter 8 and we did 8-1 in class. We also began going over the classwork from yesterday.
4-25: Classwork assignments: P.216-D, P.217-E, P.219-A. Copy all questions and answers in Spanish.
4-24: We went over the workbook assignments on P. 77. We also learned the Present Progressive(P.218 in the textbook).
4-21: We watched the Spanish baseball video.
4-20: In the textbook, P.212 A, B, C and P.215 A and B were assigned for classwork.
4-19: We went over the workbook activity on P. 75 and 76. I assigned P.77-E, F, and G in the workbook for homework.
4-18: We got the vocabulary list for Chapter 8 and went over the words. We also went over the workbook activity P.78-B. I assigned P.75-A, and P. 76-B and D in the workbook.
4-17: We went over the Cervantes handout and looked over the 5 irregular -go verbs on P.214 in the textbook. The homework assignment due tomorrow is Workbook P.78-B.
4-14: We took the Nationalities Quiz and received the handout dealing with Miguel de Cervantes, the author of Don Quijote.
4-13: We did another board activity using the adjectives of nationality and read the dialogues from yesterday in class.
4-12: We did a board activity using adjectives of nationality and worked in groups on a short dialogue.
4-11: We went over the workbook activity on P.71-H. We also discussed the format of our quiz on Friday.
4-10: We went over adjectives of nationality. Refer to textbook page 192 for further explanation if needed.
3-30: We finished the "Salsariffic Spanish-Part 1" video.
3-29: We watched the 1st part of the "Salsariffic Spanish" video.
3-28: We performed our dialogues. I have decided to wait until after spring break to go over the workbook assignment from page 71.
3-27: We practiced the dialogues and went over the adjectives of nationality on P. 192 in the textbook. In class, we did P.193-A in the textbook and I assigned P.71-H from the workbook for homework.
3-24: We practiced the dialogues and watched the second part of the video "Selena Remembered."
3-23: We practiced the dialogues and watched the first part of the video "Selena Remembered."
3-22: We took the Chapter 7 exam.
3-21: We did four final sentences on the board and reviewed for the Chapter 7 exam tomorrow.
3-20: We transalted 4 sentences from the main board and practiced our dialogues.
3-17: We translated 4 sentences from the overhead and went over the workbook activities on page 69.
3-16: We translated four sentences from the main board into Spanish. The homework assignment for tommorow is workbook: P. 69-A & B.
3-15: We finished the video on Ecuador.
3-14: We practiced the dialogues and watched the 1st part of the video on Ecuador.
3-13: We did a board activity on stem-change verbs and I handed out our new dialogues.
3-10: We took the Chapter 7 Vocabulary Quiz. I also assigned the following exercise for homework due on 3-13: P. 185-A, B, C, D P.188-B, and P. 191-C.
3-9: We did Crossword 7-3 in class and had computer time for the games and activities for the Chapter 7 vocabulary list.
3-8: We did Crossword 7-2 and went over the homework assignment from P. 189.
3-7: We did Crossword 7-1 and learned stem-change verbs on pages 187 and 189. I also assigned P. 189-D for homework.
3-6: We went over the Chapter 7 vocabulary list and did the county calendar assessment task(no grade).
3-3: Mr. Rahn assigned the vocabulary for Chapter 7. You will find it in your textbook on Page 203. There is no handout vocabulary list for this chapter, but you can click on the link below to see it.

2-22: We finished watching the Roberto Clemente video and reviewed the forms of tener. I assigned exercise F from page 163 in the textbook for homework.
2-18: In the workbook, I assigned P. 59 exercises C and D. I recommended looking at textbook pages 161 and 163 for help if needed. We also watched the 1st part of the Roberto Clemente video and got the handout on him.
2-17: We took the Chapter 6 Vocabulary Quiz.
2-16: We went over the homework assignment from P. 156(C) and learned how to make sentences using tener + que + infinitive.(P. 163 in textbook) Tomorrow is the Chapter 6 Vocabulary test.
2-15: I checked Crossword 6-2 and we went over it in class. We also took the Quiz over the Panama Invasion. I also assigned P.156 Exercise C(in the textbook) for homework which is due on Wednesday.
2-14: We went over the textbook activity on P.156(B). I also gave out the Crossword Puzzles for Chapter 6 and we did CW 6-1 in class. 6-2 is due on Tuesday. We also discussed the handout on the Panama invasion in preparation for our quiz on 2-15.
2-11: We went over the workbook activities from pages 55 and 56. I also intoduced the verb tener and gave out the handout on the Invasion of Panama. The homework assignment which is due on Monday is in the textbook: P.156-B(Copy the sentences and complete with the correct family member in Spanish.)
2-10: I checked the workbook activities from pages 55 and 56, and we also finished the video on the Panama Invasion.
2-9: We watched the 1st part of the video on the Panama Invasion. We will finish the video on 2-10.
2-8: We got and went over the Chapter 6 vocabulary list. I also assigned the following workbook activities for homework: P.55-A and P.56-C.
2-7: We took the Chapter 5 exam.
2-4: We did a board activity using regular -er and -ir ending verbs and reviewed for our Chapter 5 exam on Monday.
2-3: We went over the workbook assignment(P.48, 49) and began working on our PowerPoint presentations.
2-2: We did four sentences from the main board and I assigned Workbook P. 48-D, E and P. 49-E, F for homework which is due on 2-3.
2-1: We went over the workbook activities on Pages 46 and 47, reviewed regular -er and -ir verbs, and did a PowerPoint Activity with the verbs.(8 sentences)
1-31: We took the Chapter 5 vocabulary quiz.

1-24: We did 4 sentences from the board, went over P.139-J from the textbook, and I made a workbook assignment: P. 45-B, C, and D.
1-21: We watched a video on Elian González, the Cuban boy who is the source of a great debate.
1-20: We did four sentences from the main board and learned the conjugations for regular -er and -ir verbs. Homework is P. 139-J.(Copy sentences in Spanish and complete with forms of the verb ver.)
