Team 7B's upcoming week 5/21/01
The year is winding down with only 9 days of school left.
We were thrilled on Friday to have our ice cream party and a visit by Martin Luther King III. The ice cream was refreshing while Mr. King was inspiring. What a great way to wrap up a week!

This is my last update for the year. I hope this page has been informative for you as a student or parent.  On Friday, I found out I will be teaching 8th grade next year. If you happen to be on my team look for this page again once the school year has started.

Remember report cards will be mailed home to students and parents. Make sure all books have been paid for or returned in order to receive your report card. Also if you have moved or plan on moving, make sure the teacher or school has your new address.

Due to the hectic weeks, we have not been placing grades in students' agenda books recently.  Please be sure and watch for report cards and progress reports to check your child's grades.

Reading: Listening unit will culminate for Periods 5 & 7. Students will listen to a story and complete study guide. A final will be given upon completion. If time permits another story will be read.

READ 180 & 6th period will continue working on reading skills & strategies. All work not completed by June 1 will result in zeroes. Please make sure you complete all assignments to the best of your ability.

If it's Wednesday, it must be essay day. This week's topic: You have just been given a time machine and told you can take one trip. Where would you go the past or the future? Why? This is to be completed in class only unless you are absent on Wednesday!!

REMIND YOUR STUDENT TO BE AWARE OF HIS/HER BEHAVIOR THESE LAST WEEK OF SCHOOL. WE ALL WANT TO HAVE A POSITIVE END TO OUR YEAR.

Check this site for homework and review exercises through the year. Updated weekly.
