Power searches use the connectors AND, OR , and NOT. They are capitalized to connect multiple words and phrases. For example: dinosaurs AND meteors NOT museum. This is asking for documents that include information about dinosaurs and meteors but not coming from a museum.

If you are going to use a phase, include the phrase in quotation marks. For example, "underground railroad" will find documents that have this phrase somewhere.
