WELCOME TO SIERRA!! We are looking forward to having you return for the 1999-2000 school year. There are some staff changes and some program changes that occur every summer, but these changes are good for our school.
Orientation for all new students to Sierra is on August 19, 10:00 am in the east gym. We will have a short introduction and then students will be led on a treasure hunt by our leadership class and parents will have a chance to ask questions about our program and organziational structure.
First day of school is August 26th. School starts at 7:50 am. All students will have their 5th period classes posted on the windows of Room 19, the last room in the wing that faces Stanton Way. You will report there first thing Thursday morning for your schedule and planners and other useful information.
Our school uniforms are very simple. You may wear plain white, blue, gray and khaki. No stripes, plaid, or logos on the tops. Sweatshirts and sweaters must also be plain blue, gray, white or khaki. Blue jeans are permitted. You must mix the colors you wear.Jackets may be worn to school, but must be removed upon entering a classroom. Full information on dress code and uniform will be included in the planner we send home the first day of school.
