*Continue to bring OM&M books to class EVERY day until further notice. Book checks are done daily and worth points!
*Be sure to write an agenda down every day...you know what you are working on, need to finish, etc. Please add reminders about things to finish, what to study for, when things are due, etc. At this point, your agendas are your responsibility and you are expected to have an entry for every day of class. Agenda's will be collected again on or before 10/12. Do not get behind!
*Benchmark Test: MONDAY 10/8...worth 10% of your grade! Take it seriously!
*Check grades on parent connect often. The end of the quarter is October 12th.
*Keep folders/binders organized and up-to-date as binder checks could happen at ANY time! The only way to show Mr. Lanari or Mrs. Simmons that you have an assignment or received credit for something is to have it in your binder, organized and ready...if needed! Again, this is your responsibility!

Step3:Formal Outline/Bio Narrative Due Dates, Requirements, etc.
-You must also check out a copy of Of Mice and Men from the library and have it with you on Monday and everyday thereafter until we are finished with the novel, and applicable projects, assignments, etc.

You should have annotations for every paragraph, every page, etc. Be thorough!

-Make Up: Journal #8: If you had to pick a fictional character from a book, film, tv show, etc. that you really like, admire, etc., who would it be? Why is it that you are drawn to that character's traits? What traits has that character been given that makes you relate to them? Have you ever thought about the writer that created this character? What might have inspired them to do so? etc.
-Read pg110-115 (end of page) "Everyday Use". Complete the following graphic organizer (see image below) with at least 5 quotes for each character. The purpose of the graphic organizer is for you to find quotes as you read that show indirect characterization of what each character is like, etc.
