YOU WILL NEED TO HAVE THIS PAGE PRINTED OUT WHEN YOU COME TO SEE ME!
If you are interested in an extra credit assignment for the last 6 weeks, come see me by Monday, May 15, 2000. You will select a notable native Texan to write a biography on. The biography must be 3 pages long, typed (size 12), double spaced, and it must include a picture of the person that you are assigned. You must also provide a bibliography to go along with your paper.
All of this will be due on May 19, 2000 at 12:00 PM. No late papers will be accepted for any reason. You may turn in your paper prior to the 19th, but I will not accept them after that date at 12:00 PM. Plagiarism will not be accepted and your paper will receive no credit.
A completed, well written assignment will replace a low quiz grade with a 100, or will add 10 points to your 6 weeks test. You must let me know which option you want when turning in your assignment, otherwise I will choose for you! Write a note on your assignment as to which you choose. You must also attach the pink card stock slip that identifies which notable Texan you were given. Without this slip, your assignment will not be accepted. NO EXCEPTIONS!!!!!!!!
