Welcome back to school! Yes, I know this is a late update - but things will get better. I am currently planning to create a web page for entire kindergarten grade level so as to help with time management. We all enjoy having a web page - it's just so hard to update one each week. Therefore, we will combine a web page and share the work load. This will serve you better! Look for a new web page in the next two weeks!
Much of what will be included in our web page will also be sent home in written form by way of the weekly updates and/or the monthly calendars. But read on ...........
We're off to a great start! I have enjoyed Meet the Teacher, Parent Information Night, and Grandparents Day - but it will be nice when it is all over! The children are ready to get settled in our routines (okay, me too). Much class time has been used to prepare for PIN and GP Day upsetting our daily schedules.
*Show and Tell - Wednesday's only (please do not bring things the next day if forgotten). Also, it has been brought to my attention that students may not bring live animals to school. Sorry, there are allergies and diseases to think about.
*Prayer Service - Friday, Sept. 14th @ 10:30
*School Pics - week of Sept. 18th
*Community Helper Presentations - week of Sept. 24th. Thanks for all the volunteers! If everything works out this will be the BEST year of community helpers.
Don't forget to look at the homework sheet this month in the blue folder. Also, look for work coming home with comments from Mrs. T. Your little one might need some extra help with something we've done in school.
Lastly, if you have not signed up for conferences, check with Mrs. Brown or Mrs. Hanshaw in the office for a schedule.
I will finish this with words of thanks to you parents for sending me your delightful, wonderful, beautiful, exceptional, lovable......children this year. Every one of them is special to me and I have REALLY enjoyed being a part of their lives thus far. They are all so precious! This is going to a great time for us all.
Let your little one let me know you have viewed our class page. They should whisper in Mrs. Glaser's or my ear - "Jesus Loves You!"
