Third grade is an exciting year! Students learn to become independent learners, and take pride in becoming more active in their learning. Third grade students learn to use an assignment notebook and how to organize their materials and time. Third grade subjects include Reading, Grammar, Spelling, Handwriting, Math, Science, Social Studies, and Religion. We have computer and library for 30 minutes each, one time per week. We have one hour of Spanish per week. We have music and physical education on a rotating ten day cycle. Students also have the opportunity to participate in Jr. Great Books, Lego League and various field trips throught the school year.
