I have been teaching Spanish in the public school system to students in grades 9-12, Levels I-III for the past 6 years. Before that, I tutored and translated Spanish to English-speakers and English to Spanish-speakers. I hold a Bachelors degree in Spanish Education from Douglass College-Rutgers University and a Masters degree in International Education Development from Teachers College-Columbia University. I lived in Spain during my Junior Year Abroad in college and for a summer in Mexico during High School. I believe in cultural sensitivity and the importance of diversity, therefore I encourage and develop these concepts through my lessons, as well as enable my students to become more proficient in speaking and thinking in Spanish.
