¡Hola! Soy la Sra. Stanley and I teach Academic Connections-Spanish to the sixth and seventh grade classes and Spanish 1 to eighth graders. I am originally from Lincoln graduating from Lincoln Pius X and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. I finished up my degree studying at El Instituto de Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey in 1992. I have taught in the Seward school district and Lincoln Northeast High School. I began teaching at Irving in 2001. I was fortunate enough to accompany Lincoln Public School high school students to Spain in 2007. I assisted with Cross Country at Northeast High School in 1993-1995. I coached the team at Irving from 2005-2010. I have been married to Bob since 1988 and we have three juniors (yes, triplets) who attend North Star School. I spend my free time attending my kids' extracurricular activities and spending time out with friends and family. I love to do crossword puzzles and language games. I also enjoy exercising, and try to run or exercise almost daily. I have participated in numerous road races. I have completed 16 marathons. I love teaching Spanish at Irving and am continually learning how to be the best Spanish teacher that your child deserves. Please know that I have your child's best interest at heart and that you are always free to contact me. Gracias, and I look forward to working with you and your student.
