Exponential Growth Lab

Human Population Growth
Objectives:
You will create a graph of human population growth that shows exponential growth and use it to predict future growth. You will also identify factors that affect population growth.

Instructions for creating your graph.
1. Open the Vernier Software (logger pro).
2. Put in your values for time (x) and population (y).
3. Label and title your graph, right click on the graph and go to graph options.
4. To expand the area of your graph so that you can project to year 2020 and to expand the population size hold the cursor over the x or y axis, a box will come up that says click and drag to expand.
4. You do not need to print your graph, but you do need to save it (you will need it for future questions) and show it to me to get credit.
