KARINA'S CLEVER IDEA
"I can't wait to get there!" though Karina as she brushed her teeth. That morning she and her parents would drive to Port Aransas, Texas, to see Karina's aunt and uncle. Once they arrived, Karina would put on her bathing suit. Then she and her aunt would watch seagulls together.

Karina finished dressing and packed her soap and shampoo in her suitcase. "But where can I pack my toothbrush?" she wondered. "I don't want my clothes to get wet!"

Karina thought for a second. Then she ran downstairs. When she came back, she had a plastic bag and a twist tie. She put the toothbrush in the bag and closed the bag with a twist tie.

"Now I'm ready," she said. "Port Aransas, here I come."
