Remember that the formula to find a DO is S + AV + WHO or WHAT = DO. BEWARE of Linking Verb. Direct Objects ONLY go with Action Verbs, NOT Linking Verbs!! Also, DOs are NEVER in a prep phrase. If you can't remember your preps, look in your blue grammar packet.
