Direct Objects

Identify the direct object in each of the sentences. Remember that the direct object is the person or thing that receives the action of the verb.

For example:
I love you. (Who do I love? You. You is the direct object.)
We bought a new car. (What did we buy? A car. Car is the direct object.)
