Parent/Guardian Survey 2008-9

Welcome parents and guardians!

At the beginning of the year I asked the students to fill out a survey in order to give me a better idea about them individually and collectively. I've done this for each of the last eight years and have found the insights have greatly improved my teaching.

This year I'm trying something new: I'm asking parents and guardians to complete a survey as well. I'm always looking for new ways to increase the connections between classroom and home, but I've never taken the opportunity to collect information from parents in all my classes. My hope is that this will be as informative as my student surveys have been.

This survey is, of course, voluntary. You may skip any question or questions you so choose, or even the entire survey. All information you share will be kept in strictest confidence, to be used only by me for improving what goes on in the classroom. Although I may share summative data with colleagues, I will keep all individual responses private.

Please feel free to contact me with any comments about this or any other matter. Thank you!
