    No, because I tell them they can't.
    No, because they know it is not a good source for scholarly information.
    Yes, because I tell them they can.
    Yes, because it is usually at the top of their Google search.


  1. Do your students know where to look for the best information?
    Of course they do! They only use peer-reviewed/scholarly articles for their papers.
    Totally. They only use Google's advanced search feature for their information.
    Sometimes they remember there is a library.
    Only after I explain that they can get to some of it in the databases.


  1. Are your students aware that MLA and APA have updated their citations?
    Yes, and all of their bibilographies/works cited pages are flawless.
    Yes, and they also know where to get information on how to cite properly.
    Some of them know, but others don't.
    No, we haven't had a chance to talk about proper citation in class.


  1. Do your students understand plagiarism?
    Um, yeah. I only threaten them with failing the class if they even try to copy & paste.
    Yes, they know that I will catch them with turnitin.com.
    They know that copying and pasting is wrong, but they might be fuzzy on some of the more subtle aspects.
    Not really.


  1. Where is the best make-out spot on campus?
    The walking path. They can make out on their way to class.
    The Library. Obviously.
    The basketball court.
