Technology Survey 2004

In an effort to help plan out the work I have to do this summer, I am asking for some feedback from EVERYONE about the things you love and
hate about computers and the network in general.

Any info you provide will remain confidential to others in terms of your identity. I only want to know who you are so that I can respond to your problems and follow up if I need more info.

Name

  1. On a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the best response time, How would you honestly rate the response time to problems you encountered. (Please do not compare it to last year, rather think about if your problem was solved in time to get on with that class or project in the time you had originally planned. Did it take a day longer, a week longer, several weeks longer?)

  1. What was your experience with the laptops? Did you have a couple of problems now and then, a number of problems consistently, too many
problems to make using them worthwhile? Please give examples.

  1. Were there always enough laptops to go around? If not, how many more did you usually need?

  1. What knowledge about computers and/or our network would have helped you the most at the beginning of the year other than learning PowerGrade? (PowerSchool was busted and a training session that was planned didn't happen as a result. I know this was a problem.) I would like to develop a handbook, so list as many things as you can think of that I should include.
