PTO Enrichment Survey

The PTO Enrichment Committee met on Monday, March 21 to consider items for recommendation to the PTO Board for purchase. Some of the items considered will be purchased through building or district accounts. Others will require further study or research before they can be adequately considered. In the meantime, the PTO is seeking staff input on the relative priority of four items which were discussed. Please take two minutes to fill out the survey below. Thanks.

Name (optional):

  1. Which of the following items do you personally support for purchase by the PTO if funds were available? Mark all that apply.
Purchase of a Ellison die cut lettering machine
    Purchase of a laminating machine
Purchase of literacy book sets for each grade level
Purchase of a literacy consultant two times per year for staff development

  1. If the funding was only available to purchase only two of the items, what would be your top two choices. Mark two only.
Purchase of a Ellison die cut lettering machine
    Purchase of a laminating machine
Purchase of literacy book sets for each grade level
Purchase of a literacy consultant two times per year for staff development

  1. The Ellison die cutting machine contains several purchase options. Given your priorities would you like to see us spend:
$1200 (a basic starter set of letters)
$1900 (the basic letters plus basic shapes)
$2600 (the basci letters and shapes plus holiday shapes)
$0 (spend the money on one of the other items instead)

  1. The literacy book sets would be an amount set aside for each grade level. The current amount being considered is $200 per grade level. Given your priorities would you like to see us spend:
    $200 per grade level
$500 per grade level (I would sacrifice my other priority)
$750 per grade level (I would sacrifice all other items)
$0 (use this money on one of the other items)

  1. The literacy consultant could be purchased at a cost of about $750 per day. The current proposal being considered is for two days of consultant time. Given your priorities, would you like to see us spend.
$1500 (two days of consultant time is just right)
$3000 (four days would be worth giving up other items)
$4500 (six days would really make a difference)
$0 (use this money on one of the other items)

  1. At what grade level do you do most of your work?
