The level III Student will: The level III Student will: 1. Describe and demonstrate an advancing knowledge of Professional Nursing skills, assessment techniques, nursing procedures, and documentation of holistic patient care in the hospital, home, community, or other facility setting 2. Recognize and describe critical, emergency, operative, community and home care settings 3. Identify and explain the assessment findings of patients who would require care in the above listed settings 4. Analyze and demonstrate critical thinking skills in real, simulated, or testing situation 5. Compare and contrast the role of the professional nurse as a team member vs. a member of management 6. Successfully complete all clinical requirements as outlined in the program plan (288 hours) EVALUATION CRITERIA: •At least bi-weekly, the instructor will evaluate each performance criteria with a “S” for satisfactory, a “U” for unsatisfactory, a “NI” for needs improvement, or “NA” for not applicable to this student or at this time in the program. •The student must obtain a satisfactory for the performance criteria in each category.
