Julian Krinsky Science Exploration Camps & Programs
Week-long residential and day camps for students ages 10-13 at Cabrini College, Pennsylvania.
Camp Invention
Non-profit science enrichment experience including creative thinking, problem solving, teamwork, and hands-on exploration for children entering grades 1-6. St. Joseph Cathedral School in Jefferson City, MO, July 28-August 1, 2008.
Missouri University of Science and Technology Robotics Camp
Teams of participants will use LEGO Mindstorms Robotics Invention System to design and build robots. Early registration is encouraged. The camp is available to students ages 11-14, with two sessions in Rolla: June 12-14 and July 29-31. Cost is $335 for commuter registration and $385 for resident registration.
Center for Talent Development at Northwestern
Residential and day camp summer program for academically talented students completing pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade. Enrichment courses include Lego Robotics, computer animation, engineering, journalism, comics, historical mysteries, and more.
Cub Creek Science Camp
Camps for first through fifth and sixth through tenth grade. Bear River Ranch is home to over 200 animals of 100+ species, and the camp gives students hands-on opportunities to learn about, hold, touch, feed and care for animals. The Jr. Vet course gives students the chance to give injections, use a microscope, read an X-ray, and more. Other activities include spending a day as an ant, pottery, sign language, swimming, crafts, crime science, botany, pond studies, paramedics, geology, and more.
SMU Talented and Gifted Program
This is a three-week residential program in Dallas, Texas that gives middle school students the chance to take advanced courses, some of which can count for college credit, including government and politics, engineering, philosophy, leadership, psychology, and mathematical sciences.
Learn To Live Honors Leadership Academy for Young Women
A week-long residential camp for young women 7th grade and up in Carrollton, Georgia. This experience offers students a taste of university life and allows them to interact with other students with strong leadership and academic skills.
Cosmic Adventures
Future Astronaut Training Program affiliated with the Smithsonian Institution Program includes camps for students entering grades 2-10, as well as adult astronaut adventures for people 18 and up. Perform experiments in a Martian laboratory, plan a simulated mission to the Red Planet, learn the fundamentals of flight and piloting a Cessna 172, work with a team to man a space shuttle, and more. Some of these programs are residential, and others are day camps. Located in Hutchinson, Kansas.

Duke Talent Identification Program (TIP)
Three week in-depth summer programs in a variety of areas, including philosophy, robotics, debate, marine labs, aerospace engineering, architecture, film criticism, nanotechnology, politics, and more.
The programs are available for students in grades 7-12 with qualifying SAT scores.
