Bonjour Mes Élèves!

Welcome to the second semester! We will be covering Units 4 and 5. If you are looking for activities to do for lessons 11 and 12, these lessons were 19 & 20 in our old book. The rest of the lessons continue from there. Many of the games and activities on this website were created with the old book, but they will still be valuable for you to do. If you have any questions, please ask. Please continue to work on your French daily! The flashcards can be found on the www.classzone.com website.

I'm so excited that you have decided to learn French. It's a beautiful language with an interesting and diverse culture. You owe it to yourself to try your very best!

Learning a foreign language is not always easy, but it sure can be fun and challenging. Here are some ways to help you better learn the vocabulary.

• Make flashcards and use them! Study by yourself, with a friend, or with a parent.
• Teach someone else what you are learning.
• Write French words in your notebook and practice saying them aloud.
• Borrow my take-home tutor and download it on your own computer. (It's legal!)
• Visit our textbook site, www.classzone.com.
• Play games on this website.
• Go to www.yahoo.com/fr and listen to French music.
• Change the language to French on your favorite DVD.
• Get a free French tutor through the Roseville National Honor Society.
