* This course is designed to be both challenging and exciting. Either Pre-calc or AFM/Trig are prerequisites.

* The curriculum includes problem-solving skills in data analysis, applications of functions and matrices; graph theory; business and political mathematics; limits and their applications, and the beginnings of Calculus. For each session of classroom instruction, the student is expected to spend an equal amount of time outside of the class for review, written assignments and preparation. The final exam for this class will be a teacher made exam.
