¡Bienvenidas al capítulo 9!
¿Están un poco más gordos después de comer los platillos que sus compañeros de clase prepararon? Yo--¡sí! Si yo sigo comiendo en la clase ¡voy a salir rodando! Pues en este capítulo vamos a hablar de la niñez. Entonces tengo una pregunta para cada persona en la clase: ¿Cómo eras de niño/niña? ¿Eras tímido/a? ¿Eras muy activo/a? ¿Eras siempre muy obediente?
Yo les digo cómo era yo de niña. Yo era muy trabajadora, muy aplicada, muy obediente. Yo nunca me peleaba con mis hermanos. Yo siempre ayudaba a mis padres. Yo siempre hacía la tarea para las clases y nunca faltaba a clase. Yo sacaba buenas notas siempre. Yo era una angelita. ¿Ustedes me creen? ¿Y por qué no?
Quizas les digo más chistes en la próxima carta......

Welcome to Chapter 9!
Are you all a little fatter after eating the special dishes that your classmates prepared? Me--yes! If I continue eating in Spanish class, I'm going to end up rolling out the door! Well, in this chapter we're going to talk about childhood. So I have a question for each person in the class: What were you like as a little boy/girl? Were you shy? Were you very active? Were you always very obedient?
I'll tell you what I was like as a little girl. I was very hard-working, very studious, very obedient. I never fought with my brothers. I always helped my parents. I always did the homework for my classes and I never skipped class. I got good grades always. I was a little angel. Do you all believe me? Hey--why not?
Maybe I'll tell you more jokes in the next letter......
