NOTE: I will assign "tareas" (classwork & homework) almost every day. It is your responsibility to stay caught-up on all assigned work. Please remember that I do not accept late work since I usually allow 2 (or more) days to complete assignments.

3.) Individually, students will read text p. 330 as a review of the present progressive tense in Spanish.

4.) Individually or in small groups, students will begin completing the "Present Progressive" worksheet [SEE ME FOR A COPY!]

TAREA (HOMEWORK): Read text pp. 342 - 345 (Perú) and TRANSLATE 8 captions of your choice to English.

2.) As a whole group, students will review the questions and possible answer structures for the Unit 8 Essential Questions in preparation for tomorrow's speaking assessment.

3.) Individually or in small groups, students will finish completing the "Present Progressive" worksheet [SEE ME FOR A COPY!]

4.) Individually, students will use an answer key to review and discuss the correct answers for their Present Progressive worksheet (from yesterday), making corrections as necessary.

4.) As a whole group, students will watch and discuss the "Geovisión" video for Unit 10 (Perú).

3.) As a whole group, students will watch and discuss a travel video on Machu Picchu, Perú.

3.) In pairs, students will take turns asking and answering various essential questions for Chapter 10 (travel).

4.) Individually, students will use laptop computers to play game-style activities as a review of travel-related vocabulary [SEE BELOW].

5.) Individually, students will complete the present progressive (PRACTICE) assessment [SEE BELOW].

TAREA (HOMEWORK): Complete StudySpanish.com GRAMMAR LESSON #49 as a review for tomorrow's quiz.

2.) As a whole group, students will watch and discuss a presentation on Sr. Eby's 2-month stay in Argentina (geography, culture, history, etc.).

3.) As a whole group, students will review retake requirement details and other related information.

4.) Individually, students who are exempting the exam will TURN IN THEIR BOOKS starting today.

5.) Individually, students will verbally present their Chapter 8 projects to the entire class for a speaking assessment grade (only students who did NOT do last week's speaking assessment).

6.) Individually, students who are taking the exam will begin working on the Final Exam Review Packet [SEE ME FOR A COPY!]
