Le Conditionnel
The conditional mood deals with action that would happen.
To form the conditional: The conditional stem is the same stem that you use for le futur. The endings for the conditional are the same endings that you use for l'imparfait. NO EXCEPTIONS!!!

Le Passé du Conditionnel
The past conditional deals with action that would have happened happen.
To form the past conditional, use the conditional of the auxiliary verb and the past participle of the main verb.
She would have finished. >>>>>> Elle aurait fini.
She would have left. >>>>>> Elle serait partie.
She would have fallen asleep. >>>>>> Elle se serait endormie.
