WELCOME to WEB DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT at GMHS

During the year, students are expected to hand in JOURNALS every other Friday (15% of your grade). The technology journal link is: http://www.quia.com/pages/schraderwebjournal.html
There are links (suggestions for journal topics). You are to begin thinking as a Web Developer. This is an opportunity to learn more on your own and to share relevant topics (for class discussion and exploration). Parents and Students will receive an emailed form. Students may type over and hand in...DO NOT COPY AND PASTE TEXT, these are your ideas and reactions to the field. Please keep it original.
Semester 1
Textbook: Web Design: Concepts and Best Practices (students will be provided class sets, please return when each chapter is complete and I ask you to keep them without writing [marks, notes, etc])
Chapter 1 Vision of the Web ~ discuss technical breakthroughs that led to the development of the World Wide Web.
