rules for the Flash Card Game

Team with the most points at the end of the game wins and is exempt from the quiz.
Each color team selects a "batting order" this may not change during the game.
Your team may talk only before a question is asked.
the next "batter" up on a team is asked a question selected randomly from the 45 computer questions. If you incorrectly answer the question your team is out and the next team begins to answer. If your batter answers the question correctly, you put the runner on base. After 4 consecutive correct answers you drive in all runners and score 4 points. If your "batter" misses a question, your team is "out" and no points are recorded. You may however, bank your correct answers at any time BEFORE the next question is asked. You will keep all points but loose your chance for more questions that round.
your team's round is up when one of the following happens:
  • your team scores four correct answers
  • your team answers a question incorrectly
  • your team chooses to "bank" their points
    Designated hitter rule.
each team has two DH cards they may use at any time. It is use in this way.
  • after hearing the question, you may choose any member of your team to answer the question for you. if correct, play continues in standard batting order. if incorrect your team is "out" and looses all point that round.
  • or - you may select another team to answer the question. the next player in the batting order on that team must answer your question. if they get it wrong, you get credit for a correct answer and continue with the next question. If they get it right, you are out, and loose your point for that round.
If we run out of time to finish a round of all teams, we revert to the highest score at the end of the last round to determine a winner.
