Welcome to the World Religions website for TES 8th Grade Faith Studies!
The final faith studies class for Trinity students is an overview of the major world religions. We will be looking at — in order — Hinduism, Buddhism, Judaism, and Islam, and comparing each of them to the faith and practice of Christianity. Classes will include visits from guest presenters representing each of these faith traditions and visits to local houses of worship where the adherents of these faiths practice together.
Our hope is that Trinity students will come to appreciate and be able to articulate more fully their own faith traditions, beliefs, and experiences by learning a bit about the faith of others.
This website is a place where students may be able to download copies of handouts and assignments. We also hope to include useful links and activities.
