IMPORTANT REMINDERS:

Mon. 3/15-Thurs. 3/18: Food Drive (bring in single serving bags of chips)

Fri. 3/19: No school

Knights of Columbus Track Meet is set for Sunday 4/18: You will receive 5 EXTRA CREDIT points in ANY subject if you participate!

Click here for the 3rd trimester summary form. There is a new form for the third trimester. It asks you more questions about the book, but after reading our two novels together, this should not be difficult for you. You MAY write your summaries on one or both of the two books you will be doing in Literature Circles the third trimester. However, your summaries will need to "knock my socks off!" After all, you will have been discussing that book for 6 weeks with your group so you should know it inside and out!

SOCIAL STUDIES:

WRITING:
PARENT SIGNATURE ON AUTOBIOGRAPHY COVER SHEET DUE TOMORROW!. (Keep the packet at home - it is due Tuesday, March 16.)
We will be starting our autobiographies next week. This week a "pre-write" worksheet will go home. You and your parents will fill it out with various facts about your life, and it is due Tuesday, March 17. It is very important that all the due dates be met on this project because we need to send the books out for publishing on April 14.

EDLINE INFORMATION
We hope you and your child have been able to successfully access Edline. It is meant to not only give you easy access to your child's grades, but to be more "green" and save paper. Because all grades are posted on Edline now, we will not be sending home individual progress reports for each student. However, when a student's grade falls to a C- or lower, we will send home a progress report. This also applies if a behavior or work habit grade falls to an NI (Needs Improvement). Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns.
