Welcome Back To School!
Students in FACS Classes or 6, 7 or 9th grade Health should be sure to bring the following to class everyday:
pencils and pens
paper for taking notes or writing
a folder to keep handouts (or a section in your notebook)
ANY HOMEWORK THAT IS DUE
The following items are helpful, but not needed everyday
colored pencils
markers
scissors
highlighter
glue stick
I will gratefully accept any donations of boxed tissues, fabric or garden produce you might want to pass along. If I can't use it, I will find a good home for it.
Please feel free to contact me with questions at the high school 657-2144 ex. 1714. My conference period this year is from 2:35 to 3:20 each afternoon.
I am available mornings, through 4th period, at the high school. In the afternoon, you can reach me at the Middle School in room 56, 657-2146, ex. 1214.
This year, again, I will be offering superised time in the Lab 9 computer lab before school from 7:00 to 7:45 on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Encourage your student to come make use of our lab for project research and word processing needs. I am also available for after hours sewing lab work. Any student is welcome, regardless of skill level. I will work with any student who would like to learn to sew, mend and maintain clothing or creatively express themselves through textiles.
You can now easily access daily homework and classwork logs from the parent link portion of the SIS gradebook. If you are not currently signed up, call your school office to arrange to get an application paper to set up your account. You can check on your child's grades and view homework notations from the teachers through this link.
