MATH HOMEWORK: This week we are working in Chapter 3 in  Go Math. 
You will see the page numbers on the homework in your child's purple homework folder.

To access your math book, use your Student ID (S number). The password is your first name in ALL CAPS. Guests may use the Student ID: s916648 and the Password: Carver

You will see many resources here. Use any resource you feel you need. Have your child work his or her homework, and then use the Student Resources provided for enrichment. You may print from this site as well.

Read your Decodable Readers for this week and take Accelerated Reader tests on them. Decodable Readers are at the third blue link at the bottom of this website. Click it, click Reading, and then click the story Tara and Tiree.

READING HOMEWORK:  The kids need to be ready for a Reading Log check.  

 Students must pass 4 AR tests per week. The students are always allowed to borrow my classroom books. Students will check out 2 books per week. They must take tests on these two books, and two of my books each week.

DIBELS: Our goal this year is 110 words per minute.

  Read your library books, my books,  

the decodable readers, and the Science and Social Studies books

when assigned in order to reach this goal. 

Remember to time yourself for one minute 3 times per week. 

Do not count the words that are wrong.

HOW TO STUDY THE STUDY SHEET

Students should use the study sheet to learn the meanings of the Amazing Words and Selection Words by Thursday for a test. Students should learn how to spell the Spelling Words by Friday, read the High Frequency Words and Word Wall Words.
