Hear Ye, Hear Ye. The Bill has been passed and there will be "No Lord or Lady Left Behind." Her Majesty has implemented a new teaching doctrine...  Lords and Ladies from all around Cobb Country will have the opportunity to participate in activities to enhance their knowledge and understanding about computer concepts, keyboarding and skills for the 21st Century. The activities embeded in this new doctrine will provide students with continuous and unforgettable learning.
Each grade level will engage in three business enriched units of study. Each unit will last approximately three or more weeks. The following is an overview of the "Royal Teaching and Learning" that will take place at the royal palace---The Computer and Keyboarding Castle:
 Lessons for 8th Grade Lords and Ladies:
Classy Careers and Colleges...Students will examine educational requirements, job responsibilities, employment trends and opportunities in the different career pathways.
Keyboarding and Ergonomics-Students will enhance and develop keyboarding skills.
Entrepreneurship for the Elite-Students will understand concepts and processes associated with successful entrepreneurial performance. Students will explain and apply the fundamental concepts of business ownership.
Lessons for 7th Grade Lords and Ladies:
Business Foundations: Billionaire Banking-Students will examine and apply the basics of economics and personal finance.
Keyboarding and Ergonomics-Students will develop and apply keyboarding skills utilizing current technology.
Computing for the Queen-Students will develop and apply basic desktop publishing skills utilizing Microsoft Publisher. Students will develop and apply basic spreadsheet and chart skills.
Lessons for 6th Grade Lords and Ladies:
Keyboarding and Ergonomics-Students will develop and apply keyboarding skills utilizing current technology.
Computing for the Queen-Students will utilize presentation/multimedia software to present their prediction of a computer for the future. Students will utilize desktop publishing skills to design and create an advertisement.
