This program is designed to be completed in 2 years. The students will have
a total of 1080 hours. Ideally, in the first year, students will focus on
the Milady textbook as well as other material. They will be introduced to
the many different procedures performed by cosmetologist. The time spent will be
divided between the classroom and the LAB.
In the second year, the students will spend time in the learning lab doing
practice test on the computer. This is to get them comfortable with taking
test in this manner. The time in the LAB will be spent practicing the proper
state board procedures on mannequins and working on the public. The
students will accept appointments from the public on Thursdays and Fridays.
