2. What kinds of punishments are possible if someone does not follow the rules in this area?

3. Are there any real-life examples of cases where someone was caught and suffered punishment for this type of behavior?

4. Who else might be hurt if someone does this type of thing?

5. Do you think the laws are the same in all countries?

Participation Monitor

Make sure everyone in your group participates. Remember, EVERYONE gets a grade for this project.

1. Is everyone participating in the group? Does everyone have something to research or do?

2. Has everyone's opinion been heard? If not, use some of these questions to make sure everyone participates:

  • (Person's Name)______ what do you think about what _____ just said?
  • Do you agree or disagree?
  • Do you have anything to add?
  • If anyone is from another country, ask if they know about the rules and laws in their country concerning this topic. Have them do some research to check on this.
  • ______ hasn't said much. Let's give _____ a chance to comment.

Rubric Rater

Your role is VERY important to your group grade on this project.

1. Does your project meet all of the requirements?

2. Use the rubric link below to go through each section of the grading rubric and discuss as a group what your group needs to do to get the highest rating in each category.

1. Record all information about the project in a Word Document. Be sure your group number is listed and your group member names. Make sure you save it to the designated area as YOUR PERIOD-ETHICS-GROUP # (example: 3rd period-Ethics-group 1) You will save to the COMMON DRIVE, ETHICS FOLDER, GROUP PROJECTS Folder

2. Also, make sure group is ready to present when necessary and that it stays on time if there is no timekeeper in your group.

3. Assign helpers if needed to help with typing up the ad campaign, deciding how it will be presented, etc.

Timekeeper

1. Make sure your group stays on time. Try to see that your group doesn't spend too long on any one thing.

2. Give a 5 minute warning for your group.

3. Time each speaker and see that no one takes too much time.
