Hello Students!! Welcome to Mrs. Graves special online web page. This week in our Social Studies hour, we will be discussing the differences between "Wants and Needs" and next week "Goods and Services." With the help of your parents, please look through old magazines and newspapers to find what you think is a "need" and a "want." Cut-out and bring 5 pictures of "needs", and 5 pictures of "wants" to class on Monday, March 20, 2000. We will be discussing those differences. On Tuesday, we will prepare a chart listing the differences. On Wednesday, we will categorize all our pictures. On Thursday we will prepare a collage showing those differences. On Friday, we will see a video and discuss what "needs" and "wants" were shown. For your enjoyment and further understanding of "wants and needs" I have prepared a game and a quiz to help you begin to distinguish those differences.
