Welcome to the 2006-07 Westside Elementary School Year!!
All parents are invited to attend Spirit Day each month. Spirit Day is the first Friday of each month at 8:05 in the cafteria. Students of the Month will be honored during Spirit Day, birthdays for that month will be recognized, and grade level cheers will compete for the Spirit Stick.
Lunch and Recess Schedules for the Year:
2rd 11:00-11:30, 11:30-11:50, 1:40-2:00;
K 11:20-11:50, 11:50-12:10, 10:00-10:20;
4th 11:40-12:10, 12:10-12:40, 12:20-12:40;
1st 12:10-12:40, 12:40-1:00; 2:00-2:20;
3rd 12:30-1:00, 1:00-1:20, 2:40-3:00.
We are very lucky at Westside to be participants in the Foster Grandparent Program. We have four active grandparents they are: Lori Redicon, Virginia and Gerald Edwards, and Donna Spurrier. These grandparents work with students helping them understand new concepts. We appreciate our foster grandparents and all other volunteers.
