This page is designed by Yumi Eto to support the Zoo Visit organised by Catherine Linnen (Waiuku College) happening again this year during the International Languages Week in Auckland, from 16-20 August.

In 2003, altogether 300 students from 15 schools, Mr Takemoto from the Japanese Consulate in Auckland, and four volunteers from the Japan Society (and me) participated in the successful event.
I hope this page would be also of help to teachers in other parts of NZ. Please have a look at the links at the bottom as well.

The Auckland Zoo entrance area is currently under construction and we have a temporary entrance which is on a diffrent side of the zoo but you can follow arrows to go there.
