Grammar Exercise 7 - Is it a fragment, dependent clause, run-on or sentence?

Remember: a dependent clause is a group of words with a subject and a verb, but does not express a complete
thought. These clauses depend on another clause to make a complete sentence.

A fragment is a group of words missing either the subject of the verb.

Tip: A dependent clause needs either another complete clause or the removal of a word(s) at the opening of the clause to become a complete sentence. A fragment will always need words added to become a complete sentence.

Directions: Select Fragment, Dependent Clause, Run-on or Sentence for each group of words.
