TASK 72 - A webquest about creating webquests

Visit and follow the steps for the task "A WebQuest about Creating WebQuests" by Steven R. Isaacs.

Upon completion of this activity, you will have created a web based unit for children to engage in. The final product will be a WebQuest following Bernie Dodge's design. The project will directly support your curriculum (Primary Education, Musical Education or Physical Education) and be a product that can be accessed by your potential students.

Steps to follow:

Step 1: What is a WebQuest?

Here there are some questions to answer and resources to find them. This activity will take approximately 45 minutes.

Step 2: Exploring completed WebQuests

Here you have to evaluate existing WebQuests in order to determine 'Good vs. Bad' while learning more about the actual look and feel of a webquest. Visit one of the WebQuests presented and complete the associated WebQuest. This activity will take approximately 90 minutes.

Step 3: Create your own WebQuest.

In this section you will find resources and templates to create your WebQuest individually or in a group.

Step 4: Evaluation

Here you can find the criteria to evaluate your WebQuest.
