CHC Vimy Ridge 1917 - (copy)

The Battle at Vimy Ridge lasted from April 9-14 in 1917, during WORLD WAR I. Unfortunately, both British and French forces had tried unsuccessfully to take the ridge earlier during the war. It wasn't until spring in 1917 the task was given to the Canadian Corps; they finally won the battle at Vimy Ridge.
