Welcome to Computer Applications I!

This week we will complete our unit on Word Processing. We will have our Midterm Exam on Tuesday. This exam will cover everything we have done up until now, including Internet Searches, Copyright Laws, Electronic Communication, Online Safety, and Word Processing.

After the Midterm, we will begin our next unit on Desktop Publishing. We will answer the following Essential Questions:

What are five design principles and what impact do they have on publications?
What are four characteristics of the target audience that affect the design and development of publications?
What publication is the most effective means for communicating information to the selected audience and for the selected topic?
