In Computer Applications 1 we will be taking your foundation of basic computer applications skills and build on those, while developing more advanced skills with newer technologies. We will use the staples of computer applications: word processing, desktop publishing, spreadsheets, and databases. We will also use email, blogs, web cameras, digital cameras, multimedia software, and other forms of electronic communication. As mentioned, we will also be using this website for classroom activities, quizzes, and tests.
In this first week students will be introduced to the course and classroom procedures. We will then begin our first unit on the Internet. We will answer the following Essential Questions:
